THE EVENT
Investing in emerging fashion design innovation is investing in the future. Introspective Innovation Fashion Week (IIFW) is an inclusive event happening on September 10th, 2022 geared towards forward-thinking undiscovered designers and creators who have novel innovations but seldom opportunity to participate or gain exposure at New York Fashion Week.
The space we are offering is a rare opportunity for a diverse group of creatives to participate in a full fashion production that spotlights emerging designers, photographers, make-up artists and creatives from across the country. IIFW empowers little-known brands to showcase their best designs, introduce standout design innovations, and most importantly, connects industry partners with emerging talent.
This event will be hosted by a collection influencers, vendors and artists all of whom attract attendees looking to experience something outside the norm of the current fashion ecosystem. Our goal is to celebrate the importance of collaboration, amplify fresh perspectives in NYFW and bridge the gap between the fashion industry and undiscovered talent to elevate the future of fashion.
OUR VISION
Introspective Innovations Fashion Week was founded by three Bay Area women of color who experienced NYFW together for the first time and developed a shared vision of building an inclusive space for emerging designers and creatives at NYFW. The vision has not only grown into an an empowering BIPOC women-led production but and collaborative experience connecting brilliant designers with other creatives and critical industry partners in order to shift the narrative on who gets to influence fashion.
